Facing life's challenges head-on, I discovered strength in connections and resilience in hope. Now, it is my mission to take what I have learned to help people in need, spreading love, compassion and kindness in everything I do.
The greatest defining moment in my life was becoming a mother—I feel blessed to have two amazing sons, Azrael and Rohan. For years, I worked as a Washington State employee, which led to the opportunity of managing a small engineering firm, all while being a single mom, determined to create a great life for my kids and provide everything they needed to be happy.
In 2017, our family experienced the unimaginable: When Azrael was 6 years old, he was diagnosed with brain cancer. He went through surgery after surgery, 60 rounds of radiation and chemotherapy every day—it was incredibly difficult to get through this period. He was then diagnosed with an inoperable tumor disorder. And yet, through all of this, Azrael continued to be the kindest, strongest and most resilient child.
Today, Azrael is 13 years old, defying the odds by not just surviving but thriving. Azrael had to relearn how to walk and talk as a result of the extensive treatments. Doctors didn’t know what he would be capable of after such intensive treatments, and yet, this past summer, he played baseball. He is our walking miracle—to be a great older brother to Rohan and share invaluable moments together as a family is the ultimate blessing.
As a mother, there were moments when it was incredibly hard to remain strong. Parents who were going through the same thing I was became a source of support, compassion and true empathy. Going through this, we became a family, sharing in every high and every low. These connections were a lifeline in my time of need. It is a passion of mine to continue forming these authentic connections, applying my background in ministry to be that unwavering source of support for families in the oncology ward.
Helping people is what fuels me and drives me in every facet of my life. In 2022, I accepted the position of Office Manager and Business Administrator for a struggling engineering firm. This position gave me the confidence I needed to take the leap and pursue real estate. I began my career in real estate, wanting to build a business around my values and make a meaningful change in the lives of others. This decision has been nothing short of life-changing.
In my first month as a licensed real estate agent, I listed a dozen properties and, in my first full year, reached $10 million in sales. There is purpose behind my work; when someone comes to me needing guidance and support through a challenging time, I jump right in, determined to get them to the next chapter of their life as seamlessly as possible.
Through real estate, I have found yet another family in colleagues and clients—I value the relationships I have made and would do anything to support my people, knowing they have and will continue to do the same for me.
Azrael and Rohan inspire me every day to continue leading my life with kindness and compassion, finding new ways to help people and being a source of support in my community. During COVID-19, with just a shoebox, I started a garden exchange, wanting to swap fresh produce. This grew into over a thousand members, sharing seeds, garden starters, compost, and even an open garden shed with tools anyone can lend. From putting together supplies to donate to local classrooms to helping house homeless veterans through real estate initiatives, I strive to be a catalyst for positive change—all it takes is one spark.
My story is a testament to the strength found in connections and the resilience that emerges when people come together. Through every step of this journey, I was never alone. My achievements are woven into the collective fabric of those who supported, inspired and stood by me. Together, we can overcome the impossible.
In my journey through real estate, I've transformed it into more than just transactions and properties. It's about housing people, especially those facing challenges like distressed properties, homes in probate or families burdened with leans on their houses. I don't shy away from the complexities because, at the end of the day, it's about solving problems for people.
Real estate, for me, is a vehicle to help people overcome problems they thought were impossible. My personal journey is a testament to the fact that with the right people supporting you, you truly can overcome anything.
Through honesty, integrity and compassion, I address issues head-on, creating a plan to get you where you need to go. Real estate is my way of making the impossible possible, not just for the properties but, more importantly, for the people behind them. One of the best parts about real estate is the relationships I have built, from connecting with industry professionals to creating lifelong bonds with my clients; I am grateful for the people I have the privilege to work with. My commitment to my clients extends beyond the transaction, serving as your Real Estate Agent for life, here for anything you need!
Sincerely,
